Amy Bell, a 31 year- old dancer and choreographer from Wiltshire, will travel to San Francisco, USA, to undertake research for a new piece, joining Eva Maria Kupfer in a residency at Oberlin Dance Collective. The scholarship is for £777. report

Lily Dettmer, a 32 year-old Learning and Participation project manager from London, will travel to New York, USA, to work with the Mark Morris Dance Group on their Dance for Parkinson’s Program, assisting and observing classes as well as discussing management issues. The scholarship is for £600. report

Alicia Frost, a 38 year-old from London, will travel to Tokyo, Japan where she is invited to attend the World Congress Conseil International de Danse (CID) as a contemporary dance teacher, choreographer and artist, sharing her work by teaching and performing. The scholarship is for £850. report

Grace Hann, a 28 year-old dancer and fitness instructor from London, will travel to New York, USA, to attend a two-week summer intensive with the Mark Morris Dance Group. The scholarship is for £600. (unable to take up scholarship)

Rosie Heafford, a 26 year-old freelance teacher and choreographer from Surrey, will travel to Edinburgh, Scotland, to visit the ‘Imaginate Festival’, Scotland’s international Festival of Performing Arts for young people to watch performances, attend discussions and masterclasses in order to learn more about making dance for children. The scholarship is for £120. report

Laura Jones, a 31 year-old wheelchair dancer from Reading, will travel to Oakland, California to work with Axis Dance Company taking part in their summer school and observing the company, learning from their practice in dance technique and creative work for their wheelchair dancers. The scholarship is for £1,100. report

Noemi Luz, a 27 year-old flamenco dancer and choreographer from London, will travel to New Smyrna, Florida, USA, to work at the invitation of Cuban/ American choreographer, Niurca Marquez, as the community artist-in-residence on a dance piece that reflects the surrounding community. The project will culminate in a performance. The scholarship is for £600. report

Michael Machin, a 56 year-old accompanist, teacher and self-employed computer programmer from Cumbria, will travel to Thessaloniki, Greece, to attend the Pontos Project seminar to learn dances, music and songs from different areas of Pontos and attend lectures. The scholarship is for £280. report

Kerry Nicholls, a 42 year-old freelance performer, choreographer and teacher from London, will travel to Washington and New York to undertake a period of professional development by shadowing Liz Lerman while she devises a new digitial choreography toolbox. Kerry will also visit the Juilliard School to underake some analysis of their curriculum and observe classes. The scholarship is for £750. report

Kayleigh Prescott, a 23 year-old dance graduate who works as a Welsh language apprentice dance practitioner in Port Talbot, South Wales, will travel to New York, USA, to study Limon-based technique, repertory, phrase, and use of rhythm and music. The scholarship is for £510. report

Denise Rowe, a 38 year-old freelance dance artist from Devon, will travel to Mandere and Harare, Zimbabwe, to train in traditional Zimbabwean dance and mbira through lessons and participation in ceremony to deepen her understanding of the role of dance and music in Shona culture. The scholarship is for £600. report

Phil Sanger, a 32 year-old professional dancer with Phoenix Dance Theatre from Leeds, will travel to Vancouver, Canada, to seek refreshment and develop his career as a freelance, independent dance practitioner through study of range of dance styles. The scholarship is for £690. (unable to take up scholarship)

Ciana Skeete, a 35 year-old winner of the 2013 European Swing Dance Championships from Surrey, will travel to US, New York to to enable her to develop her swing dance performance skills by traveling to and using passes which were part of a Eurostar Award at the European Swing Dance Championships 2013. The scholarship is for £500. report

Lucille Teppa, a 27 year-old performer, choreographer and translator from London, will travel to Marseille, France, to undertake a two-week residency with free studio space to research movement material for innovative choreography. The scholarship is for £120. report

Nefeli Tsiouti, a 27 year-old dancer and lecturer in ‘Breaking‘ from London, will travel to New York, USA, to take part in a week-long event of workshops with pioneers of the hiphop dance style and make historical reference trips to landmarks in New York which relate to hophop. The scholarship is for £580. report

Deborah Watson, a 53 year-old dance artist and educator from Edinburgh, will travel to Saratoga Springs, USA, to take part in the Body-Mind Centering Conference in order to inspire and deepen her knowledge and share it with other movers and non-movers. The scholarship is for £600. report

Jack Wignall, a 22 year-old apprentice dancer with Skanes Dansteater in Sweden, from Northwich, Cheshire, will travel to Germany, staying near Berlin to visit the artists’ retreat of Penderosato take part in a 30-day extensive course with David Zambrano to study techniques of Flying-low and Passing-through. The scholarship is for £150. (unable to take up scholarship)

Jenni Wren, a 37 year-old freelance dance artist and director of Slanjayvah Dance Company from Leeds, will travel to Denver, Colorado, USA, to undertake a sponsored apprenticeship with top physical therapists (dance focus) developing her understanding, expertise and practice in the area of dance medicine. The scholarship is for £750. report
