Adam Barker, a 38-year-old teacher and performer from Crediton, Devon, has been awarded up to £725 to travel to Java and Bali in order to study Kjak Dance and voice and music, to create performance and to create video and audio material. report
Anita Clark, a 32-year-old Artistic Director working in Glasgow, has been awarded up to £480 to travel to Boston and Rhode Island in the USA in order to participate in a community/performance conference and present a performance project. report
Meghan Flanigan, a 29-year-old American currently lecturing in London, has been awarded up to £750 to travel to Bogota, Colombia for a Choreographic residency with Colombian dancers. report
Rachel Gomme, a 43-year-old performer and choreographer based in London, has been awarded up to £690 to travel to Guanajuato, Mexico, for a two-month residency with a Mexican dance artist as part of an international cross-cultural programme. report
Magdalen Gorringe, a 31-year-old based in London, has been awarded up to £650 to travel to Delhi in order to further her training in bharata natyam under dancer/choreographer Leela Samson. report
Karen Hardman, a 48-year-old from Bath, has been awarded up to £350 to travel to Cairo to attend the Ahlan wa Sahlan Dance Festival and to attend dance workshops. report
Elizabeth Hopkins a 45-year-old from Kettering, Northamptonshire, has been awarded up to £350 to travel to Cairo in order to research social dance in Egypt. report
Lucy Howell, a 24-year-old project manager and lecturer from Gloucestershire, has been awarded up to £520 to travel to New York City in order to attend Limon Summer Intensive and other classes. report
Catherine Long, a 31-year-old artist from London whose latest work explores the internal and external experience of being within an “unconventional” physicality. She has been awarded up to £670 to travel to Rhode Island, USA, with an assistant, to present her own performance work in a community/performance conference. report
Jiva Parthipan, a 29-year-old British/Srilankan performer and choreographer based in London, has been awarded up to £640 to travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka, in order to research the Sunera Foundation, a dance/arts charity working with disadvantaged people.
Natasha Player, a 30-year-old African dance practitioner from Bournemouth, has been awarded up to £450 to travel to Montreal, Canada for a one-month choreographic intensive with Zab Maboungou from the Nyata Nyata Dance Company. report
Ni Made Pujawati Hobart, a 32-year-old Indonesian dancer based in London, has been awarded up to £725 to travel to Indonesia for two months to extend her repertoire of classical Javanese dances and, in particular, to learn three classical Javanese dances for UK and European performances. report
Gabriele Reuter, a 23-year-old German based in London, has been awarded up to £590 to travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil in order to enhance her improvisational skills and to continue collaborative partnership with dancer/choreographer Marina Caron. report
Ana Royo Sanvisen, a 30-year-old Spaniard based in London, has been awarded up to £650 to travel to Brazil for a two-month ‘aerial lab’ including research into choreography and development of technical skills for ‘harness-rope’ based movement, mixed with contemporary dance. report
Gerry Turvey, a 50-year-old choreographer from Leeds, has been awarded up to £600 to travel to Kenya in order to continue two projects researching into African choreographic practice and styles. report
Lucy Wallis, a 27-year-old from Kent, has been awarded up to £480 to travel throughout England in order to research the way in which English folk dance has evolved and has been adapted, distorted and re-worked since the advent of the post-modern era. report
Michael Wheeler, a 28-year-old, self employed dance, drama and music teacher and performer from Penzance, Cornwall, has been awarded up to £700 to travel to Brazil in order to spend one month in two schools to develop choreography for youth work, research exchange possibilities and improve personal skills. report
Fiona Winter, a 45-year-old from South Wales, who is a fitness expert and freelance teacher of Nia and dance and exercise has been awarded up to £595 to travel to USA, Portland, Oregon in order to attend Brown Belt training in Nia. report

Charlotte Darbyshire, aged 30 from London, and Juliet Robson, a 35 year old from Oxfordshire who also uses a wheelchair, have been awarded up to £600 each to travel to Bangladesh to visit the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed to lead dance workshops, and Sreepur Children’s village to research and record the place of dance in the lives of the children. report
