LUTSF is unable to fund: travel insurance, visas, additional baggage costs
Travel between your home and the airport/rail station/main departure point is not included
Where required, internal travel in your destination country may be included in your award e.g. Internal flights, long distance rail connections, but local train, bus and taxi fares are not included.
Changes in Projects: Before you apply, please ensure that you are ready to apply for this project and provide as much confirmed information as possible. Projects must take place between April of the year of applicatication and the end of April of the following year. If you are awarded a scholarship and your project then deviates significantly from what is in this application, your scholarship may be withdrawn.
Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults: If you are awarded a scholarship and are working with children or vulnerable adults in your role, it is a condition of the award that you comply with any police / background checks required by your host organisation and / or which are required by law. You are also expected to comply with any child / vulnerable adult policies which are in place at your host organisation. Please make sure to check with your host organisation or other relevant authorities what checks are required and policies and procedures around working with children / vulnerable adults before you apply.
Privacy Statement
The Lisa Ullmann Travelling Scholarship Fund is a small, volunteer led charity (registered charity number 297684) that exists to provide financial support to individuals who wish to travel abroad or in the United Kingdom to attend a conference, to pursue a research project or undertake a short course of study in the field of movement or dance.
This privacy statement has been written to explain how and why we may gather information from you and to state our commitment to safeguarding your information.
Your Personal Information
Any personal information we gather from you or is submitted to us by you is used for the core purpose of our charity as laid out above, and with the goal of providing relevant information and service to our website users.
The types of personal data you may be asked to supply can be categorised as follows:
- Contact details to allow for efficient communication either regarding our application process or because you have signed up to receive our e-newsletter
- Personal details regarding your employment, education and artistic practice are required as part of the application process for a scholarship.
How we protect information
All personal information stored by us is kept on a server in a secure environment or on a secure cloud based service. Our server is firewall protected and our website has SSL security. Information is only shared with relevant members of our management committee for the purposes of assessing and awarding grants.
We do not:
- Share the information we track on this site, in any form, with any third party including advertisers
- Release personal information about any user.
If you provide us with personal information in an email message to one of the addresses listed on our site or by filling out a form with your personal information, we will only use that information to respond to your message and to help us provide you with the material/service you have requested.
Our e-newsletter is sent only to those who have requested it.
Our website may contain links to other websites that we think may be of interest to our users. We have no control over the privacy policies or content of these websites.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to personal data held about you, obtain confirmation as to whether data concerning you exists, be informed of the content and source of data and check its accuracy. In addition, if the data held by us is found to be inaccurate you have the right to change, remove, block, or object to the use of, personal data held by Lisa Ullmann Travelling Scholarship Fund. You can at any time unsubscribe to our e-communications.
