Irina Baldini, a 23 year-old freelance dance artist from London, will travel to New York. Invited by Residency Unlimited, New York, Irina aims to further investigate issues of interactiveness in art galleries and undertake observation of visitor’s behaviour in site-specific performances. The scholarship is for £600. report

Ellie Beedham, a 42 year-old producer and dramaturg from London, will travel to Cape Town, South Africa, to deepen her professional practice and skills in creating political works for the stage and to observe the creation of a new ground-breaking dance work. The scholarship is for £875. report

Hetty-Rose Blades, a 26 year-old doctoral student  from London, will travel to California and Philadelphia to attend two conferences, meeting scholars in the field of philosophical aesthetics to inform PhD research and undertake a period of development for an online performance project. The scholarship is for £650. report

Melanie Brierley, a 50 year-old freelance somatic dance practitioner from Cumbria, will travel to New York to extend her experience and share working practices in relation to Parkinson’s Disease. This is a preliminary visit and she has been awarded a Stanley Wertheimer Fellowship. The scholarship is for £587. * report

Daphne Cushnie, a 57 year-old  senior neurological physiotherapist specialising in Parkinson’s Disease and community dance artist from Cumbria, will travel to New York to extend experience and share working practices in relation to Parkinson’s Disease. This is a preliminary visit following the award of a Stanley Wertheimer Fellowship. The scholarship is for £587. report

Ithalia Forel, a 33 year-old community youth dance coordinator from Liverpool, will travel to Brazil to attend a 10-day dance intensive to gain knowledge and information of Afro-Brazilian folkloric dance to share with the Liverpool community via carnival workshops. The scholarship is for £795. **  report

Dora Frankel, a 60 year-old artistic director, teacher and choreographer from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, will travel to Stockholm to attend the conference ‘Ballet: Why and How’ in order to explore and engage with changes and developments in international practice. The scholarship is for £271. report ***

Karina Gracia, a 38 year-old freelance dance teacher, choreographer and performer from Devon, will travel to Vijayawada and Mumbai in India to improve her dance technique, enhance teaching experience and choreographic skills and develop her knowledge of the culture. The scholarship is for £686. report

Phillip Hargreaves, a 24 year-old dance producer from Bradford, will travel to Dusseldorf and Montpelier to attend two high profile industry festivals to see work, network and attend seminars. The scholarship is for £250. report

Elena Jacinta, a 29 year-old freelance performer and choreographer from London, will travel to Tel Aviv, Israel, to develop an understanding of Gaga, a method of movement training developed by Ohad Naharin, director of Batsheva Dance Company. The scholarship is for £470. report

Lowri Jenkins, a 25 year-old performer/choreographer/director from Wales, will travel to New York to attend the Suzuki Method, Viewpoints and Composition training Intensive as a development of her practice. The scholarship is for £490.

Louise Katerega, a 42 year-old freelance performer, choreographer, teacher and community dance leader from Leicester, will travel to Brazil to be part of a UK delegation of disabled and non-disabled artists and young people to work with Ana Luiza Cisato who has expertise in social inclusion. The scholarship is for £980. report

Nicola Kemp, a 40 year-old freelance teacher and performer from Nottingham, will travel to Cuba to undertake advanced training and research in Rumba and Afro-Cuban dance and its relation to music and contemporary Cuban salsa. The scholarship is for £720.  report

Gemma Kempthorne, a 29 year-old freelance dance artist from Cornwall, will travel to Goa, India to undertake an intensive four-week teacher training course in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga to enhance her experince of yoga and the culture from which it originates. The scholarship is for £780. report

Tenika Mahoney, a 22 year-old dancer from London, will travel to New York to undertake 12 dance classes per week on a short open course at the New York Broadway Dance Centre. The scholarship is for £550. * report

Hollie Miller, a 23 year-old dancer and administrator from Effingham, Surrey, will travel to Tokyo to extend her practical knowledge and develop theoretical awareness of Butoh by attending workshops and watching performances. The scholarship is for £715. report

Jyoti Parwana, a 23 year-old dentistry student and freelance dancer/teacher from Birmingham, will travel to Bangalura in India to expand her technical knowledge and choreographic skills. The scholarship is for £650. report

Kate Pendlebury, a 36 year-old freelance dance artist and film maker from London, will travel to Taiwan to take up an invitation from Tainan Community University to participate in a summer project as guest artist-in-residence. The scholarship is for £680. report

Tara Rutter, a 26 year-old dancer and teacher from Coventry, will travel to California to experience the working practices of Anna and Daira Halprin at a 10-day summer workshop. The scholarship is for £557. report

Jade Shaw, a 27 year-old freelance dance practitioner from London, will travel to Los Angeles to undertake a summer adult free-running course as a basis for developing a free-runnning/parkour movement training programme. The scholarship is for £850.  report

Sita Thomas, a 21 year-old freelance solo dancer and workshop leader from Tenby, Pembs, will travel to Kerala, India, to learn about aspects of Keralan dance, in particular Kathakali and Mohiniyaattam. The scholarship is for £550.

Iris Tomlinson, a 65 year-old freelance dance artist/educator/t’ai chi practitioner from Hove, will travel to Taiwan to take up an invitation from Tainan Community University to participate in a summer project as guest artist-in-residence. The scholarship is for £680. report **

Helen Venn, a 33 year-old freelance community dance practitioner from Braunton, Devon, will travel to Bromley, Kent, and Banbury, Oxfordshire to undertake work placements with two of the UK’s leading dance companies for people with learning disabilites to develop her skills in this field. The scholarship is for £368. report

Fiona Wright, a 45 year-old freelance choreographer, dancer and teacher from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, will make six visits  to London to undertake Feldenkrais Method Training to gain a teaching qualification. The scholarship is for £492. report *
