Rachel Birch, a 22 year-old dancer/choreographer living in Northumberland, wishes to travel to Bassando del Grappa, Italy. She will attend the B-motion part of Operaestate Festival, Veneto, as a volunteer to help organise the event as well as take part in classes, discussions and view performances. She will participate in an international research laboratory led by Johannes Birringer, with a range of artists working with digital devices in a performance context. Victoria Gray, a 28 year-old dancer, choreographer and lecturer from North Yorkshire, wishes to travel to New York. She has been invited to perform her piece ‘Drei’ at the Grace Exhibition Space helping her to develop both independent practice and the teaching of performance. The scholarship is for £450. report
